Picking-up and returning keys
The address for picking up and returning keys is 4529 S. Jupiter Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84124. (Apple Maps | Google Maps)
You will find a set of keys under the cushions of the chairs that are on the front porch.
If there is more than one set of keys present, take only ONE set of keys as the remaining set are designated for other reservations. Each set is identical, so it does not matter which set you take.
Return the keys immediately after your event without delay. They can be placed back under the same cushion from which they came.
Description of keys
- The largest key unlocks two padlocks: the padlock on the main gate at the entrance to the Recreation Center, and the padlock on the metal storage container.
- The mid-sized key unlocks and locks the restroom doors.
- The smallest key unlocks the padlock on the breaker box that controls electricity for the restroom trailer.
Unlocking and locking the main gate
Unlocking:
- There are two padlocks on the heavy chain on the main gate. The padlock with the thicker, grey body belongs to the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy. The padlock with the thinner, black body belongs to the Salt Lake Mount Olympus Stake.
- Use the largest key to unlock the Stake padlock on the main gate.
- The Stake padlock is affixed to the gate with a small chain. Please lock the Stake padlock, then let it hang in place.
- Push the gates open as wide as they will go.
